Welcome to my homepage! graphic

HI! Glad to have you visit my site...hope you enjoy your stay here! I have always wanted to create a homepage of my own, but I never got round to it because I'm a real slacker...but thanks to a module that I'm reading with two other friends there is now a legitimate reason for doing this! You could say this site was set up primarily for our module project so...let's hope we do a good job =) get a good grade and a few laughs along the way!

The module which we are taking is a certain EL3267B; also known as Language Planning and Policy. We will be exploring the effects of how the championing of a language like Mandarin marginalizes dialects like Teochew and Hokkien. That's what we hope to achieve anyway...whether we succeed or not...that's another question...*gulp* so proceed on!
